Italy's Azimut-Benetti Group has appointed Clipper Marine as its official dealer for Azimut Yachts in the UK, Channel Islands and the Balearics, limited to British customers.

Founded in September 2007 following the demise of Peters Opal, Clipper Marine also serves as UK dealer for Bavaria. The company offers aftersales, warranty and repair services for the German yacht brand, as well as brokerage, service and repair facilities for other brands of yachts.

Azimut Yachts, which is part of Italy's Azimut-Benetti Group, builds open motoryachts from 10.7m-16.8m (35ft-55ft).
