RIVA MEETINGS 2008: THIRD RENDEZ-VOUS WITH THE RIVA TROPHY MONACO-ST TROPEZ

After having inaugurated the season with the very first Riva Trophy USA, held in Miami from February 21st to 23rd, and having come back to Europe moving for the first time to Spain, from June 26th to 28th, the Riva owners' family come for its third year in one of the destinations that have made the success of the Trophy's past editions: Monaco Principality. Organized by Riva's exclusive dealer for France, Monaco Boat Service, with the cooperation of the shipyard, the event was held from July 3rd to 5th and, as it was in the previous editions, was related to an artistic competition. A rich agenda characterized the three-day event, starting with the ‘Diamond Night’ on the first day, a charity dinner in honor of the MAP. Continuing on the following days with the classic navigation towards St. Tropez, where the Riva Art Trophy took place, the trip to La Rague-La Napoule beach, the retrospective exhibition by Van Dongen organized by the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco and the gala dinner at the Yacht Club Monaco during which the winners of the Trophy and the Art Trophy were awarded. Many artists participated in the competition, such as the photographer Nicolò Paoli, the illustrator Virginie Broquet, the sculptor Michele Chiossi, the painters Michele Mummo and Raffaella Formentini and the author of paper and video installations Camilla Taviani. Following its tradition, Riva fans were offered a unique mix of style, play, elegance and amusement able to create convivial occasions and relaxing moments. As usual, Riva was joined in this event by its partners Credit Suisse and Veuve Clicquot. The Riva Trophy Monaco-St. Tropez was also the occasion to present to the guests the new exclusive product ‘La Grande Dame by Riva’, a project realized in cooperation with Veuve Clicquot.
