Description: ‘Sealine's clever new F42/5 flybridge motor yacht looks like a showpiece, but a rough-water crossing reveals its inner strength. Its capacity to extend its length by a full three feet at the touch of a button empowers its owner with the unique ability to arrive at a marina in a 42-foot and depart in a 45. But the biggest surprise about the Sealine F42/5 is its wave-busting performance in rough seas.
Sealine has fashioned an offshore-ready hull and constructed a boat to withstand the abuse that six-foot seas dish out. The boat itself provides amble living, bathing, cooking and eating space, with a dining area for seven people. High-gloss cherry woodwork, and six-and-a-half-foot headroom contributes to the open, airy ambience.
The F42/5 has innovative features at every juncture; a bi-fold transom door encloses the cockpit, with a cockpit enclosure that drops out of the molded fiberglass overhang. The flybridge helm bench swivels to become a side bench, which converts the bridge into a lounge/dining area. The examples of clever engineering are myriad, making the Sealine F42/5 one of the most innovative boats ever to hit the water. ’
