Porsche Design is continuing its practice of producing luxury engineered merchandise, but deviating from its traditional use of black with a new summer collection in all white.

The new line includes clothing, jewelry, leather goods and carrying cases in white, accented by titanium, aluminum and stainless steel. Porsche Design products have previously included everything from tobacco pipes to luggage to complete kitchens in its signature color of black.

But the white collection is about more than just summer-themed aesthetics. The new pieces feature some pretty neat tricks. The P'3140 pen keeps the writing element retracted inside the tip when stored. Flick your wrist and the ink stylus emerges, ready to write.

The white P'9521 cell phone is a fresh take on a previous Porsche Design phone in black. The phone uses fingerprint recognition to identify users, while the body of the phone is milled from a single block of aluminum. For those looking to wear Porsche style, there is a pair of sunglasses combining white plastic and titanium and a jacket featuring the Porsche Design stripes on the inside lining.

The white collection also includes a laptop case, wallet, cowhide credit card case, briefcase, woven leather bracelet, key ring, money clip, lighters and stainless steel cuff links. The products will go on sale in May.
