We can offer you the concept of a typical family room that is transformed into a theatre at the simple push of one button! We can dim the lighting whilst lowering a projection screen from a hidden cavity. As the room is transforming your amplifier and DVD player are turning on ready for action. Alternatively we can offer a dedicated room fitted out with stadium style floors with cinema seating, a fixed screen and overhead or rear projection with world class sound, the choice is yours and we are more than happy to discuss the options in detail for you.



We do not tie ourselves to specific brands as our focus is on providing a total solution, to that end the products we recommend must not only offer stunning performance they must also integrate seamlessly into your control systems. It is here that our organisation is unique. We employ certified THX trained staff to help design and conceptualise your room and audio visual requirements, then our engineers get to work on the programming and control of your room, the skill sets are diverse however if you require a solution it is the only way to achieve success.

SMART Systems was founded in 1995 and has grown rapidly. The people behind SMART Systems each have an average of 15 years working experience in relevant fields such as building automation systems, energy auditing, control systems, computing, networks, electronics and electrical installations. Kay Wennagel, the founding director and head engineer brings a diversity of experience from running major building automation projects for buildings such as Southgate and the former State Bank Centre (Elizabeth and Bourke) through to running an energy auditing and management company.



We have assembled a group of people with diverse skill sets with strong technical backgrounds, including security specialists, high-end audio-video specialists, control specialists, data and networking specialists, lighting specialists and multi-room audio specialists.



We are members of CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) and of ASIAL (Australian Security Industry Association Limited) and have AUSTEL accreditation.



SMART Systems aims to be the best in its field. We are not tied to specific products. Our mission is to offer the best combination of products, integrated and tailored to match the client's requirements. While we are both a young and a small company, our level of service, work standards and professionalism are tangible proof of our desire to still have our current customers in 50 years.
