The Hugo's story commenced over 12 years ago with the opening of Hugo's at Bondi Beach which was born out of a desire to set up a business close to the surf and sand. Since that time our passion and commitment to delivering superior food and service has seen the Hugo's brand grow above and beyond our original vision. The Hugo's Group also offers another excellent venue, Hugo's Bar Pizza, which sits beneath Hugo's Lounge in Kingcross and soon opening on Manly Wharf. Hugo's Bar Pizza serves award winning Italian food and has a divine bar and lounge area to relax and enjoy a cocktail or two.

Hugo's Lounge merges intimate New York chic with the cozy, comfortable and relaxed attitude of urban Australian lifestyle. If the elements of absolute pleasure are sophistication, style and relaxed comfort, then Hugo's fuses all three exceptionally. With recent terrace expansions of Skyy Bar I, Skyy Bar II and the exclusive VIP Bar, Hugo's has effortlessly stepped into its role as a world-class venue.

With four fabulous bars, six function areas and a uniquely designed terrace, Hugo's Lounge can host up to 550 people, providing and intimate and stylish environment for both corporate events and private functions.

Every Sunday for the past six years Hugo's Lounge has played host to SNEAKY SUNDAYS with our much publicised residents SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM (Angus McDonald, Connie Mitchell, Daimon Downey and Pete Dolso) who cleaned up at the ARIA AWARDS winning ‏Best Dance' and ‏Best Breakthrough Album'. Joining SNEAKY are Ajax (Adrian Thomas), Gus The Hoodrat (Angus Gruzman) from Gang Bang and Johnn Pow!! (The Heat) and cameo appearances from international Dj's join in the fun playing dirty electro tunes twisted with funky house n'disco to the early hours of the morning.
