The fruit selected for each Alta release is sourced within the heart of
the Adelaide Hills from vineyards at altitudes of 400 ˜ 700 metres.
Winemaker, Sarah Fletcher, has taken great care to ensure that each
wine style shows strong varietal expression whilst reflecting the
cool climate nature of the Adelaide Hills wine region. 2007 marks
the release of two outstanding wines into the Alta portfolio, the
2006 Alta Pinot Noir ˜ a multi clonal wine with rich varietal plum
and classic earthy notes and the 2007 Alta Pinot Grigio ˜ steely
and refreshing with spicy pear and zesty citrus flavours.
