Profile

ECC was founded in 1909 in Auckland, New Zealand. Although the profile and size of the company has changed greatly over the intervening years ECC still remains committed to professional personal service.



In 1990 ECC purchased the business of Novo Lighting and established the ECC Lighting showroom and warehouse in Pyrmont, Sydney. Further showrooms in Brisbane and Melbourne followed thereafter. Furniture was added to our range of products in 1997 by obtaining agencies from the same high quality, innovative European companies as the lighting group.



Today, experienced personnel backed by the full support of our overseas principals represent the lighting and furniture products in all states of Australia.



Members of the ECC Lighting + Living staff travel overseas at least once per year to keep us up to date with the latest design trends throughout the world. The cornerstone of our approach is to provide the finest lighting and furniture available in terms of quality, technology, design and style at the best value for money possible.



The contracts teams provide technical sales support to Architects, Interior Designers and Engineers for medium to large commercial, landscape and retail projects. The showroom teams focus on our every widening decorative range of products for domestic, retail and smaller commercial projects.
