We Design, Project Manage, Install and Integrate all Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Intelligent Systems and Technology needs. We work with a select few retailers but do not offer brown cardboard box solutions. We offer a service along with tried and tested products that work, are flexible, have excellent performance and achieve the results expected - not merely the product of the week.

AUTOMATION - Home automation is not about making your home mimic the house out of a movie set in 2050. It's about using technology to make every day operations in and around your house easier or automatic while conserving energy.

Lights can turn on automatically as you walk around your home depending on the amount of natural light in the room and the time of day. Your watering system can water the garden for you - depending on whether there has been enough rain or not. The windows can open themselves in the morning during summer to let in the cool breeze and then shut as the outside temperature rises, keeping out the heat.

That is just three scenarios out of hundreds that are possible in any smart home. The energy management possibilities of the smart home if used to potential can allow the systems to recover their initial costs via savings as well as the positive benefits for the environment.

We consult with Architects, Designers and Owners to design the systems we install. We can design and build a complete specification on all technical - Electrical, Cbus, Audio Visual Systems, Security, Telephone and PABX, Data and Networking, TV and Satellite etc for any project - residential large or small and commercial large or small. All technical drawings, electrical loadings, lighting design, control charts and programming charts can be designed and constructed by Zentec.

AUDIO VISUAL - Audio Visual Systems are now more than just a TV, DVD and a few speakers. Now we have Home Theatres/Cinemas with LCD's, Plasma's, Projectors, DVD's, DVR's, PVR's, STB's, Satellite, Amps, Speakers, HD and SD - and that's just one room.

Then we can branch out into Multi-Room systems for just audio or both audio and visual all around the house - which the preceding gear must integrate with as well as the other 3 smaller AV systems in the house.

Now count the remotes because we need them to control the systems along with a 5000 word manual on how to do just that - or replace them with 1 Master Remote that can do the work of 20 buttons with just one.
The gear must also remain in full view cupboard doors open and all so we can use it - unless we get the above mentioned Master Remote which can be used in other rooms of the house with the cupboard doors shut and the AV equipment out of sight.

SECURITY - Security, if designed well, is not just about keeping burglars out or seeing who was where and when. It can help save lives - in the event of fire the smoke detectors can set the security so that emergency or appropriate lighting comes on, unlocks all doors, closes fire doors, alerts the proper authorities etc. It can help save you money - when the security is armed no-one is home so it turns off all lights and any other unnecessary electric devices. It can turn off the dedicated power point for the iron as to avert any fire risks or lock all the doors in case you forgot one - the point is that it doesn't just have to sit there on the wall waiting for a break in to be useful. If designed, planned and installed correctly it can become a very useful system integrated into the rest of the house.
