Sandown International Motor Raceway is a combined horse and motor racing facility located 25 kilometres east of the central business district of Melbourne.

Connected by the six lane Princes Highway, Sandown is arguably one of the best appointed motor racing circuits in the world and includes its own railway station and freeway overpass directly into the venue. The circuit opened in March 1962 with the staging of the Sandown International Cup.
