The Avante Marine name was established when Berowra Waters Marina, NSW commenced importation of the Bayliner and Trophy Fishing boat brands in 1987. The Avante Marine Group has always had a strong focus on sales, service and customer satisfaction. The dedication of long servicing employees ensures a high level of customer service and product knowledge is always delivered. In 2000 the Avante Marine Group expanded into the Queensland marketplace through the acquisition of Prestige Marine on Sea World Drive at the Gold Coast and in 2003, the Avante Marine Group reconfirmed its strength in the Sydney marketplace with the opening of its dealership at Silverwater, near Homebush home of the 2000 Olympics.

2005 saw the acquisition of Boronia Marine in Melbourne. Established in 1968, Boronia Marine is a name synonymous with everything boating & fishing and known to all that live in Melbourne. In 1973 Boronia Marine was sold to Colin Brown, a qualified motor mechanic who recognised that its future lay in the growth of the sales and service of boats. Colin grew Boronia Marine into one of the largest retail marine businesses in Australia, including a fully stocked chandlery and tackle, retail store. Colin, and his wife Sandra, owned and managed Boronia Marine for almost 26 years, before retiring in 1999, and had the foresight in 1984 to purchase the current site at 341 - 347 Dorset Road, Boronia and to develop the purpose-built premises from where the Boronia site still operates.

The Avante Marine Group has been creating waves throughout the Australian market with its recent unprecedented growth. From its meek beginnings at the now flourishing Berowra Waters Marina, Avante has begun to exert its dominance over the market, expanding its importation over the years to include the entire U.S. Marine product range, with the additions of the luxurious Maxum Sportsboats and Meridian Yachts. To complement its own 5 dealerships, Avante distributes the U.S. Marine range of boats through another 6 dealerships around Australia. Now with the addition of Boronia as part of the Avante Marine Group, our commitment has risen to an even higher level. Avante Marine continually demonstrates its commitment to Australia's boat owners to provide the ultimate in customer satisfaction.
