Several Distinguished guest attended the event including; Mohammad Ahli, Director General Aviation Authority Dubai, Jamal Al Hai, Vice President Dubai Airport Strategy Unit, and Anita Mehra, Vice President of Marketing for Dubai Airports. The new company called Grand Aviation Dubai will be based at the Dubai International Airport.
It will soon expand its services to include the Maktoum International Airport at Jebel Ali. Amidst this whirl of excitement, Grand Aviation Kuwait initiated an official agreement to purchase Dubai-based Fliteport. Fliteport will provide the continued expertise of aircraft handling, refuelling and full flight dispatch services.
In turn, this will help Grand Aviation Dubai to offer comprehensive and efficient private jet services to its clients.
Commenting on the launch, Sami Al Bader, the founder of the investor group, noted: "Dubai is now a global city with over 20% growth in its industry. Top businesses and multinationals are setting up base here almost every month. The demand for executive and VIP travel is increasing by almost 50% a year, according to some estimates. Grand Aviation Dubai expects to take a large chunk of this fast growing business.
"By drawing on the best talent from both the groups, including officers with over two decades of experience in the aviation industry, the new company can offer the highest possible service from the day it opens its doors. We believe in high quality and extreme efficiency, and with VIP and top business clients, nothing else will do," remarked Abdulla Atatreh.
Hussein Al Asousi, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of Grand Aviation Kuwait, stated: "The company will start with two executive jets with four more under plan, While scouting around for the planes, the company wanted to ensure that they are top in safety; have the widest stand-up cabin in their class; have long range and high altitude flying capability and full technical support from the manufacturers."
The success of private jet services is usually based on the fact that they offer time-saving, privacy, high comfort, an office in the air, a choice of airports and minimum security worries. Grand Aviation Dubai aims to ensure that clients get complete services from the moment they step out of doors to their final destination.
Apart from VIPs and business executives, Grand Aviation said it also plans to serve corporate passengers, government officials, high net worth individuals and families travelling for events, business meetings and holidays.
