An extremely well-built replica of the famous AC Cobra of Carroll Shelby fame. Great interior with leather buckets and all the clocks you need. Based on a well-known fibre-glass kit body with solid steel-alloy monocoque rail and tube frame. She is fitted with a Ford 351 Cleveland 4V motor that has been ‘breathed-on’ for mind-blowing performance and very rapid 0-100 klms time. Holley 650-cfm 4-barrel carb with Edelbrock intake and tuned side-pipes. Transmission is via a 4-speed box with Lacock overdrive. Handling, suspension and brakes are courtesy of JAGUAR XJ6 Series 3 ‘refurbished donor parts’ that delivers good stopping power to the Keystone 245-mags (Hildebrand Knock-on 3-leaf look-alike) and performance rubber. Jag 4.1 ratio differential handles the power (snaking) to the tar. This is not a car for the feint-hearted ˜ but fun with a capital ‘F’ ˜ put a permanent smile on your dial! Comes complete with a Soft-top (for the sissies) and a road-trailer in case you only want to use her on the track in Classic Racing class. This car is street-legal in South Africa and comes with Registration and Road Worthy Certificate. Now you have FORD FALCON GT straight-line performance - only better with two-seats.
